Undergraduate Research Week 2025
Dear Colleagues,
Each year, the Office of Undergraduate Education hosts Undergraduate Research Week events to support undergraduates in making informed decisions about pursuing research opportunities and to assist researchers from all disciplines with efficiently identifying undergraduate researchers. This year’s events are scheduled for mid-April and additional details can be found below my signature line.
Undergraduate Research Match Day may be of particular interest to research assistants, post-doctoral researchers and faculty because it reduces the cost and time associated with finding qualified and motivated undergraduates to assist with research projects. Faculty who engage undergraduates in research enhance grant applications by demonstrating mentorship, identify quality researchers for future graduate work and become eligible for awards such as the Provost’s Award for Faculty Excellence in Undergraduate Research Mentoring.
