Comet Scholars Program Application
To be considered for the Comet Scholars Program, please log in to Artemis, the
UT Dallas scholarship and fellowship system. Once logged in, complete the UTD General Scholarship and Fellowship Application.
After submitting your application, return to your home page and review the “My Tasks” section. There, you will find the Comet Scholars Program along with any other opportunities for which you may be eligible.
We encourage you to submit applications for all opportunities you qualify for. Please also check Artemis regularly, as new scholarships and fellowships may become available throughout the year.
Comet Scholars Application Deadline
2026-2027 scholarship applications open January 5th, 2026 and must be received by the following deadlines:
- First Time College Students: March 1st, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time
- Transfer Students: March 1st, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time
Applications received after this date will not be considered. No late applications will be accepted.
Letter of Recommendation Submission
You can add your recommender’s contact information by logging into Artemis. Letters of recommendation will not be accepted after March 1st, 2026.
